The foil is made of PET or TPH – both transparent, durable plastics that repel water and oil. PET variants in different thicknesses (2mil and 4mil) provide basic protection and are particularly economical. TPH foils are even more robust and come in various surface finishes: the glossy variant reflects light and looks elegant, while the matte version appears more natural and makes fingerprints less visible. For solid wood furniture, there are specialized variants that preserve the wood grain, and for modern surfaces like natural stone (ceramic/ceramic tiles), there are specific versions. The foil can be easily cut and applied – if needed, with the supplied tools like a squeegee and cutter.
