The Gator Grip is a versatile self-adjusting socket that automatically adapts to both standard and metric fasteners, allowing it to quickly grip hex nuts, screw eyes, hooks, lag screws, and bolt heads. The Gator Grip excels at handling rusted and worn heads. This socket adjusts from standard sizes of 1/4-inch to 3/4-inch and metric sizes from 7mm to 19mm, offering a torque capacity of over 125 pounds. The socket is equipped with 54 hardened steel spring pins, ensuring its durability over time. When the socket is placed on a fastener, the center pins retract while the outer pins grip tightly around the fastener. As the fastener turns, the torque is distributed from the outer pins to the socket walls, making this tool suitable for both heavy-duty personal and professional applications. The design includes a 3/8" drive. Additionally, the ETC-120A comes equipped with a drill adapter that enables any drill or power screwdriver to function as a power socket set.
